Amazake (甘酒) is a traditional sweet, low- or non-alcohol (depending on recipes) Japanese drink made from fermented rice. Amazake dates from the Kofun period, and it is mentioned in the Nihon Shoki. It is part of the family of traditional Japanese foods made using koji and the koji mold Aspergillus oryzae that includes miso, soy sauce, and sake.

Produced by Artists’ Association MUU in Finland, Performance Voyage is an annually compiled thematic series of video performances that also goes on an international tour. The Performance Voyage 4 compilation from 2014 contains 14 video performances by artists from different parts of the world. Its tour covers nearly 20 events in 11 countries.

The theme of Performance Voyage 4 is SELF-PORTRAIT, which offers a variety of possibilities for the artists as well as the audience: the works challenge spectators to reflect upon themselves as well.
