Positions open in hospitality, media and entertainment. We are looking for individuals to start immediately and be eager to learn and grow. Candidates will work side by side with co-founder in a busy environment and be client facing with diverse and high profile accounts and gain access to managing exciting events. Candidates must be dependable, smart, efficient, detail oriented and have excellent writing skills, with a flair for creativity and an understanding of the millennial mind paired with a strong work ethic. Exceptional Photoshop and Excel skills a must. Ideal candidate should have 1-3 years of experience in a PR 

Main responsibilities will include:

Account management/client relations (this is a client facing role)
PR Copywriting (Biographies, Pitch E-mails, Invitations, Media Alerts, Press Releases)
Research and strategic planning for client campaigns
Pitching, Cold calling, Celebrity Outreach
Media list creation via Cision
Media relations and outreach
Press clipping and monitoring

The AE should have the ability to manage several projects at once, should be a creative thinker, proactive, a problem-solver, eager to learn and a stellar writer. Must have a positive attitude, excellent writing skills, computer skills superior follow-up, be articulate, reliable, and available to start immediately.

JOB DESCRIPTION:  Production Coordinators support producers, production managers or production supervisors in all areas of production organization including document formulation and overall coordination. The work is varied and each project may be significantly different. In general a Production Coordinator will help to ensure that everything runs smoothly prior to and during a project or event. 
SCOPE OF WORK:  Your work may include production tracking, office management, coordinating schedules, tracking PR activities, support with purchases, vendor outreach, booking, research, location scouting, securing production assistants, distributing crew and facilities information. The role often involves administrative and office management support, and sometimes support with marketing and promotion.  As a Coordinator you will need to have the ability to manage administration and logistics in support of production managers and producers in a busy special events environment.  Production Coordinators must be able to anticipate project needs, discern work priorities and meet deadlines with little supervision and be willing to work occasional evenings and weekends. A working knowledge of local and national vendors is important.     
QUALIFICATONS:  Excellent communication skills are paramount, including writing, proof reading skills, and the ability to speak proficiently to both client and vendors. Ability to manage multiple projects and work assignments concurrently, while efficiently coordinating staff and volunteers. Excellent interpersonal skills, with a high level of professionalism, both in person and by phone . A coordinator should possess the ability to accomplish projects with very little supervision, with a fantastic customer
service ethic and high expectation for quality. Bachelor’s degree preferred; significant work experience can substitute for the degree. At least 2 years of experience coordinating special events. 
Proficient use of the latest versions of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and mail merges; email and web searches.

A small Manhattan-based special events and fundraising company is looking for a qualified candidate to join the team. Astic Productions has been in business for over 20 years working with nonprofits to create, produce and manage fundraising events ranging from large gala dinners, concerts, receptions, golf outings and smaller cultivation events.

The Event Manager will oversee and manage all logistics of an event. They will manage the clients and event leadership on fundraising strategies and keep clients on schedule through detailed timelines. Duties include, but are not limited to, writing letters to potential donors, coordinating/managing large mailings and mailing lists, prospect research, negotiating with vendors, managing incoming funds, guest lists, coordinating all day of needs and working at all events. Some early mornings, late nights and weekends may be necessary at times.

The candidate must have excellent organizational abilities, good phone skills, ability to handle multiple projects at a time and enjoy working in a small collaborative environment. Must be comfortable interacting with clients, donors and vendors. Must know how to use Microsoft Office and Excel. 5+ years of work experience needed.
