As you may know, I run a boutique entertainment marketing agency called Syndicate-5 - which I have been helming since I left the brand I founded, Gen Art. 

At Syndicate-5, we are making plans for a significant expansion of our business this fall in the area of brand alignment with entertainment platforms in the fashion, beauty, film, art, music and cultural verticals. And we are planning to significantly expand the number of such entertainment properties we represent so as to be able to offer brand partners national packages across similar platforms. 

To accomplish this we are looking for one or two key experienced leaders who understand this space, have a deep rolodex, and are looking to do something new, exciting, entrepreneurial - and out of the corporate box.  In return they will find career satisfaction, flexibility of work environment, and an ownership stake.

CONTENT SUPERVISOR
Looking for someone to take over the bulk of the Account Management and Production work at MSD for multiple clients. Ideally, this person would have some serious experience in both the Comms space and the Impact/Social Good Space. 
· At least 6+ years of experience in advertising, PR, marketing on agency side or client side
· Highly strategic and creative
· Quantitatively strong in research, data, and analytics. 
· A self-starter, who is interested in helping to grow the business
· Very strong PPT skills
· Resourceful and highly energetic
· Strong oral and written communication skills
· Willing to take ownership and run with projects without daily instruction
· Digital/Social Media savvy – has implemented campaigns on social platforms
· Will source resources to produce things like websites, short films, photoshoots, etc. 
· Healthy understanding of digital production, and basic understanding of Broadcast production, would be ideal
· Excited about the IMPACT space and knows a good deal about what is happening














FREELANCE SENIOR STRATEGIST
· At least 6+ years of experience in advertising, PR, marketing on agency side or client side
· Highly strategic and creative

· Can build a comprehensive COMMS strategy plan from scratch
· Experience  from working with multi-national huge corporations to small NGOs
· A self-starter, who is interested in helping to grow the business

· Excited about the IMPACT space and knows a good deal about what is happening 
(We imagine this role growing from around 20 hours a month, to 40 hours a month)

Flying Television is currently looking to hire a Talent Coordinator/Manager Social Media to join their ever-growing team! 

Job Description: Flying Television, a celebrity booking and brokering firm, is seeking an experienced Talent Coordinator/Manager Social Media. Responsible for developing and implementing public relations strategies for company clientele in the worlds of fashion, lifestyle, and entertainment. 

Candidate must be comfortable running a red carpet as they are drafting press releases. Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills, be able to work independently as well as collaboratively, and must possess at least 2-3 years industry experience. Strong, pre-existing contacts in the media are required. 

Key Duties & Responsibilities 
- Brainstorming/List generation – Ability to create researched lists of viable talent for projects 
- Monitor media coverage and create press re-cap reports 
- Manage and assist in client events 
- Manage company website 
- Handle daily output of social media for firm and clients 

On-site at Events – duties may include: 
- Check-in 
- Talent Escort 
- Gift bag distribution 

Requirements: 
- 2 – 3 years minimum experience 
- Strong Media contacts in both entertainment and fashion 
- History of pitching clients and creating written press materials 
- Ability to work well with others and interact with high level executives 
- Ability to multi-task, problem solve, and think outside of the box 
- Self Starter 
- Thrive in a small, intimate work environment 
- Working knowledge of major media databases such as Cision 
- Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, (Photoshop a plus!) 
- Bachelors Degree

NEW LUXURY D.C. HOTEL SEEKS DIGITAL DIRECTOR

We are seeking a talented individual who is passionate about a career in marketing and will energetically rise to all the challenges that come with opening a new hotel.  Some things in Washington never change, but this is a unique chance to reinterpret history while bringing a new luxury product to the DC market. If you are bold and believe that travel is an occasion worth celebrating; if you are gracious, intriguing, refined and fun; if you are distinct and want to help rewrite the rules of luxury, we want to hear from you!  This position reports to the Director of Marketing and Communications and will be responsible for all things digital, but will be exposed to and part of the planning for our overall media plan (including advertising, PR, consumer and press events).  This position requires experience across paid digital media and 360 digital campaign management along with a full understanding of all the moving parts in the hospitality industry (white label sites, partner sites, GDS listing, CRM, booking engines, etc). 

Overall 
-Drive hotel awareness, engagement, and traffic in the digital space
-Develop, coordinate and execute digital marketing programs and materials 
-Create seasonal planning calendars for digital initiatives that support the business objectives
-Research and stay ahead of digital innovation, exploring new opportunities and how they can be leveraged.
-Proactively engage other employees on property to contribute to efforts

-Work closely with agency on best practices for SEO and copywriting

Ecommerce
-Manage our CRM vendor
-Manage our Booking Widget along with hotel’s revenue manager
-Work closely with hotel’s revenue manager to create and track special offers for hotel, spa, restaurant, etc
-Manage our PPC agency
-Create, manage and monitor ad placement on social channels and other outlets (including GDS and hospitality partner sites) 
-Analyze performance independently and present to team how to best achieve goals

Desired Candidates will have: 
·       Solid experience working in digital marketing, digital media and/or e-commerce environments 
·       Experience in development and tracking of social media campaigns
·       Exceptional project management and analytical skills with experience in digital analytics 
·       Strong working knowledge of  display, search, social and mobile advertising
·       Luxury brand experience
·       Experience working in a highly creative and fluid environment 
·       Strong creative and copywriting skills, ability to assist in creating and editing sales and marketing materials
·       Passion about the world outside the office in order to learn and grow at the office
